Other background, contact and demographic information, such as your profile picture, city, state, country, academic details, workplace information, interest & hobbies and other self-descriptions you choose to provide.
Property and Vacancy Information. We request the following information if you are a host: property name, address, photos, property type, description. This data is especially important to identify you as a host and facilitate the attraction of interested travellers through your public profile.
Information about Products that you wish to sell or rent or neighbourhood services you wish to offer. Information may include text, images, photos, address, or anything else you want to share.
Communication with other users. We collect your messages and store them securely to deliver your content to the users with whom you are communicating. Meaning, we simply process this information to operate the functionality of and facilitate the communication between users.
Proof of identity, such as a copy of your identity card, passport, and proof of accommodation that you have added on "BeMyGuest". This information may enable us to verify that the information provided is accurate in order to reassure the "BeMyGuest" community and protect our members from fraud.

In addition, it is essential for us to promote a safe and transparent community, through the detection of fraud, spam, abuse, security events and other harmful activities.Important: We may review, track, or analyse your communication with other users through the "BeMyGuest Platform", for the purposes of fraud prevention, risk analysis, regulatory compliance, investigation, product development, research and customer support.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?

All sending of private or public data between you, "BeMyGuest" and other users through the "Platform" is done so using upstanding security practices using communication protocol TLS, ensuring that it is encrypted and transferred with digital signatures.
We follow upstanding practices for storing your private and public data in encrypted form, especially sensitive data like emails, passwords and personal information.
When you use the "BeMyGuest Platform", you authorize us to transfer, store and process your information in the United States, and possibly other countries where our servers and third-party services are located. The laws in these countries may differ from the laws applicable.

CAN CHILDREN USE OUR SERVICES?

The "Site and Services" are not directed to children under the age of 18. We ask all users registering for an account to expressly warrant that they are an adult over 18 years old.

YOUR CONTROL OVER YOUR INFORMATION

How long we keep your information:

We keep your information stored as long as you have a "BeMyGuest account" so you can access it at any time and use our "Platform" in a personalized way.

Deleting your account:

You have the right to delete your account at any moment.
To delete your account, log in to your account, navigate to "Settings" and visit "Delete account" option.
From the moment of deleting your account:
Your personal data will be deleted.
You will not be able to retrieve, reactivate or re-connect your information.
We unlink and disassociate your data with your account, meaning we make sure that your information is no longer associated with you in any way.
In order to create a safe and non-abusive community, users that have committed clear violations to "terms of use" won't be able to create a secondary account.

NOTICE TO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

We are providing this supplemental privacy notice to Consumers in California, pursuant to the "California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”)".The "CCPA" grants California residents the following rights:
